What’s funny about this video is not that it’s funny, but that I actually tried doing this a few weeks ago with random people I met on the street. Needless to say it didn’t work out well, and most of the video footage I got was me being punched in the face by a diverse group of people. Kind of the opposite of this video really.

This isn’t really humor, nor really new, but I just wanted to point out that Daft Punk is pretty damn awesome and there are some really cool videos all having to do with their track “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”. And in case you were wondering, that’s what she said!
First, we have the famous “Daft Hands” video which was extremely creative and kicked off a trend of videos based around this concept.
This led to the famous “Daft Bodies” video which naturally the Rodge finds far more entertaining than Daft Hands, for obvious reasons (I like robots?).
And to finish it off, most people know that Kanye West sampled the track in his hit song “Stronger”. Here he is performing it live at the Grammys with Daft Punk in the pyramid. As Juan P. Hammer said, “I feel like I’m watching a concert from the future”. Rock on Juan.
It took a while to grow on people, and for those too young to remember the television show Macgyver they’re parodying it’s probably about 50% as funny as it is to those of us who remember it. I can’t tell you how many glasses of Scotch I downed watching Macgyver in the 80s. Wait, yes I can: 291. And now we bring you the complete (so far) hilarious collection of MACGRUBER!
First, the series of shorts kick off with Macgruber working with Jeremy Piven.
Now, our hero Macgruber starts to impersonate either Jaqelvis or David Hasselhoff, I get them both confused.
Now, Macgruber starts to get a little vain and have some work done. Were they mocking my main man Richard Dean Anderson here?
Now Jonah Hill gets in on the act by telling Macgruber he can’t do his job. Don’t $#&! with Macgruber Jonah!
Macgruber reunites with his long lost son Shia Labeouf who appears to be impersonating Juan P. Hammer in this series. How odd.
The stock market has crashed, and besides defusing bombs Macgruber is dealing with the stress of his financial situation.

This song was terrible, but what’s weird is this look is actually quite popular in certain places.
When John was struggling from writer’s block, he naturally tapped the Rodge for his expertise in creativity. I let John in on the processes I go through to come up with Gwarm posts, and John has executed well.
Ron Cherry is one of my favorite all-time referees. Not only does he have the name of a porn star, but he also tells it like it is. I’ll tell you like it is though right now, and when Rodge “gives someone the business”, it doesn’t entail jumping on the back of another man in pads like #69 does in this clip.
UPDATE: Apparently Ron Cherry is bringing it back from the Old School as this ref from the 80s originated the “Giving him the business” penalty. He even throws in a visual interpretation of it.
The Gwarm team is known to play some Guitar Hero. South Park has their own version, Guitar Queer-0. Is that politically correct? Rodge thinks not. Here it is in three parts.

What won’t Andy Samberg do for comedy? I guess we can scratch “make out with a dog” off that list. What’s next, cream corn wrestling with Juan P. Hammer?
People around the web are claiming this is footage of Lindsay Lohan stripping in her upcoming movie “I Know Who Killed Me”. While that seems like a plausible story, the truth is I took this footage last night in the Rodge Love Shack. It’s unfortunate that Lindsay Lohan was arrested for dunk driving on her way home from the shack.
Sure, it’s the day after Mother’s day, but this still needs to be watched. The best part is when Mr. T starts his lyrics by just blurting out “MOTHER”.
I think it’s clear that there needs to be more commercials starting Mr. T and other 80s celebrities. What’s odd is that Juan P. Hammer’s slogan is also “Get Some Nuts”.
If you’re the NFL Network and you want to promote your coverage of the NFL Draft, there is obviously no choice but to put Will Ferrell in short-shorts to go after a twinkie against former USC offensive lineman Ryan Kalil. Mike Honcho behaves similarly if you get in the way of his coffee.
He-Man Sings 4 Non Blondes
Perhaps the #1 internet video of all-time, it actually earned a spot in the Gwarm site header above. Slackcircus deserves some serious props for this creativity. There are too many great moments to break them down, but the one-armed dancing and instant messaging scene get me every time. Give the clip a minute to hook you.
He-Man Sexual Harassment PSA
This is amazing on so many levels. First, it really was a public service announcement. It’s great how years later something that was innocent can be so funny. And what is up with Orko? That is one creepy little floating thing. And is it really a good idea to tell your minister you’ve been touched inappropriately?
He-Man Lebowski (language warning)
He-Man combined with one of the best movies of all time, a surefire winner. You might actually wonder if the Coen brothers got inspiration for the movie from this He-Man scene.
Brokeback Snake Mountain
A very well done Brokeback Mountain parody. I actually want to see this movie. It just seems so real that He-Man could not want to quit Man-At-Arms.

Not quite 4 Non Blondes, but He-Man doing Queen is also a good combination.

A whole mix of 80s cartoon characters getting crazy at the Cobra Island Rave.

This is such an obvious remix I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Juan P. Hammer likes to dance to the original on his weekly dance shift, so he may want to substitute the audio on this version to get a rise from the crowd.
This clip from The Simpsons of Marge Simpson Googling herself brought two ideas to my mind. First, the ending of Homer lying naked in his hammock and then running into the neighbor’s house is something Mike Honcho is commonly known to do. Second, I figured it’d be good to do a Gwarm author Google-off:
Juan P. Hammer – 3 results. This is pretty poor, but we’ll cut Juan some slack as a relatively new user of the internet.
Rodge Rockwell – 29 results. Frankly this is a bit disappointing as The Rodge figured I’d have more than 30 ex-girlfriends who would have created hate web pages about me.

Mike Honcho – 106,000 results. This looks really great, until you realize Mike happens to share the same name as a former Playgirl model.
