We here at Hilarious.net aren’t lucky enough to have a Segway so, as a way to curtail our envy, we’ve compiled a list of painful Segway crashes as a reminder that the transport of the future still has some bugs left to work out.

Your prototypical crash – shifting weight forward or backward too quickly.

Let me just say this crash is mediocre but it did give me a million dollar idea. After-market Segway knuckle guards … you heard it here first!

This girl rams a pole off-screen.

Drunken Segway should’ve gotten this guy a nice brain injury or at least some missing teeth but, alas, the drunken driver walks away unharmed as usual.

Another knuckle buster.

You’d think the scarf would have something to do with this accident.

This little kid runs his Segway into the back of car and gets the handlebar treatment to the face.

These women zoom off and incidental contact leads to what looks like a painful faceplant.
