Looks like JaQelvis is familiar with Wikipedia. One thing is clear, Bigfoot must rack up the frequent flier miles flying to all those different countries.

Bigfoot is the common name for the animal, and Sasquatch is referring to the reports from the Pacific Northwest of the US. Different names for the same type of creature can be found around the world under different regional names, such as the Yeti (Abominable snowman) in Tibet and Nepal, the Yeren in China, the Orang Pendek in Indonesia, and the Yowie in Australia.

There really is no species name because the creature has not been scientifically proven to exist, called a Cryptid.

Rodge Rockwell is a cryptid.
